Important Winter Info
Fuel Delivery Access
Our every effort goes into making on-time deliveries despite weather conditions.
To help our drivers continue to make safe and on time deliveries please:
Clear the Driveway
Make sure your driveway is cleared of snow and ice, especially when you know a
delivery is on its way! We recommend clearing a wide enough path to accommodate
our delivery trucks.
Shovel a Path
A path needs to be cleared all the way to your filling area – propane tank and/or oil
fill pipe. It is important to do this so our delivery drivers can safely deliver your fuel.
Mark your Fuel Pipe
Since our drivers may need to deliver in the dark, it would be helpful to turn on
outside lights while they are there. We would also recommend marking your fill pipe
with a reflective snow stake to assist them in finding it.
Thank you in advance!
Frozen Pipes – A Disaster to Avoid
As the water in pipes freezes it expands, creating as much as 2,000 pounds of pressure per square inch, enough to cause almost any pipe filled with water to rupture. The bad news is that a burst pipe can release hundreds of gallons of water per hour, causing thousands of dollars in damage.
