Whole House Humidifiers
Protect your family and your home from the unhealthy and damaging effects of over-dry air. Turning your temperature up in the wintertime will keep you warm, but will decrease the humidity level. Daily activities such as showering, cooking and doing laundry won’t produce enough moisture to keep your home’s air from becoming too dry. Many viruses thrive in low humidity increasing the likelihood of catching colds, flu and aggravating allergies, asthma, and upper respiratory ailments.
A Whole-Home Humidifier will deliver the perfect amount of moisture to the air making you feel more comfortable and enable you to lower thermostat settings. In fact, the EPA states that you can save up to 4% on your heating bill for every degree you lower your thermostat!
A Whole-House Humidifier is installed directly into your heating and cooling system. Humidity is introduced into the air in the form of water vapor which is distributed
through ductwork into your home.
Whole House Dehumidifiers
All homes need humidity control. Air conditioning alone can’t satisfy your home’s
humidity requirements. Your air conditioning system is designed to control temperature, not humidity, and only removes humidity as a byproduct of cooling. During the spring and fall seasons when it’s cool outside but damp inside, and your air conditioning is not running, your house can become uncomfortable. Over-moist air can encourage the growth of mold, bacteria, dust mites, and can also cause clammy skin or stuffiness in the air, sticky or “sweaty” floors and surfaces, musty odors, and condensation on water pipes.
Whole-House Dehumidifier systems are installed as part of your home’s heating and cooling system. Dehumidifiers pull air from every room in your home through the return ducts, removing moisture and then sends dry air back out. It works in conjunction with your air conditioner to efficiently balance the humidity levels in your home, but can also work independently on days when you don’t need the air conditioner.
Whole House Air Filters
Air pollution is a serious problem — especially inside your home! The EPA has named indoor air pollution as one of the top 5 environmental risks to public health. Air Filters,
also referred to as air purifiers or ionizers, make the air as clean as possible allowing
you to breathe healthier air — especially important to those with allergies and asthma.
An air filter system can help rid yourhome of dust, dust mites, pet dander, mold spores, pollen, bacteria and viruses, smoke and more!
Whole-House Air Filters are installed as part of your home’s heating and cooling system.
That means each time your system runs, the air in your home is filtered removing potentially harmful contaminants.
